2012 saw a new start for the Birmingham aces, very different now from its original idea in 2010 which was Facebook based. It seemed the right thing to do to take the club to another level with all its members now taking an active part in the club. This has cemented the friendship of the members and long may it continue. Below is a brief outline of what we are all about.
The Aces are a Birmingham based group of likeminded friends with a shared interest in the mod scene. We meet at Urban Village at The Custard Factory Digbeth, Saturday lunch times and also hold a meeting at 1.00pm on the last Sunday of the month at The Shakespeare Pub, Summer Row or at The old Crown in Digbeth. Most weekends you will find us smartly dressed supporting our local bands, dj's and events in and around the Birmingham area. Some of our members own classic scooters and ride them to our weekend meetings and on the occasional ‘Aces Days Out’ we organise. We aren’t a scooter club so don't worry if you don't own one, you can still drop in and join us for a coffee, chat......and the inevitable pose!!!!! Either Saturday or Sunday.
So......if you are young or old and interested in the mod scene and would enjoy spending time with stylish people who don't take themselves too seriously, then use the contact page to get in touch with us, or you are more than welcome to come along to one of our meets, but please note that membership of the aces is with the full agreement of existing members.
